Cartridge Casing
5,0cm cartridge casing for the Krupp Kaiserliche-Marine (Imperial German Navy) Torpedoboot (Torpeedo Boat) Cannon. This is a very interesting cartridge casing as it looks like a giant rifle casing. To illustrate the size, the casing is photographed with a rare original Kaiserliche-Marine issued Torpedoboot Marine-Tellermütze issued to a sailor on Torpedoboot T-158 XII Torpedoboots Halbflottilla.

Torpedoboot V158 was of the 1906 Torpedoboot-Klasse. V158 was constructed at Vulkan Stettin in 1907, launched 23 June 1908 and commissioned 08 Oct 1908. With 59 boats build, the Großes Torpedoboot 1906 design were the second largest torpedo boat class ordered by the Hochseeflotte (High Seas Fleet).
