Model 1910 Dragoner Officer's
Schirmmütze for Regiments 3, 7, and 15

Preußen (Prussian) Dragoner (mounted infantry) Officer's Schirmmütze. This very scarce example is made from a high quality Feldgrau wool with pink band and piping. Externally this Schirmmütze is flawless with absolutely no damage or wear.

This color of band and piping was worn by the following Dragoner Regiments:

  • Grenadier-zu-Pferd-Regt. Freiherr von Derfflinger (Neumärkisches) Nr.3 (Bromberg) II Armee Korps
  • Westfälisches Dragoner-Regt. Nr.7 (Saarbrücken) XXI Armee Korps
  • 3. Schlesisches Dragoner-Regt. Nr.15 (Hagenau) XV Armee Korps

The cloth liner is unmarked; quite typical for a privately-purchased cap. The sweatband is Ersatz-leather.
