Flush with the Hull
The white plastic strip has now been faired into the hull with Tamiya putty and then painted. This required about three coats of putty with sanding between each coat to make sure that no seam was visible.

Back to the Hull Sponsons
Now it was time to glue the hull sponsons on with epoxy, and fair them into the hull. Once on, the portholes were drilled.

The Deck Grid
As the deck has to lay on top of the horizontal part of the brass angle, to maintain scale I had to lay a deck of thin 1/16" aircraft plywood. As this is so thin, I had to make a wooden grid to support the deck to prevent sagging.
