Laufgang (Gangways)
As this period photo of a ship's drummer shows, on either side of the funnels on the upper deck over the air vent covers were heavy steel mesh Laufgang (gangways). I assume this was required as only Pommern had the large flared out supports at the funnel bases.

Yay....
And here is where it went bad....The edge I had put around the entire upper deck from brass angle, should not have been on the section between the funnels, as that makes the gangways have to sit on top of the edge. The gangways should be almost flush with the upper deck.

Lets get it over with...
So I had to cut the air vent covers off, then cut the glue around the brass angle that made the upper deck edge on the top and bottom. Most ship modelers would have left it and just let the gratings sit on top, but any error is unacceptable to me. So it must be fixed.
