Aft Compass Platform
This was an interesting feature on Pommern; the Aft (rear) compass platform was very high, higher than any of the other ships in the Deutschland-Klasse.

Aft Compass Platform Mounted
The compass platform was made in the same fashion as the searchlight platforms, round plastic circle, plastic strip edging, with PLM Marinedetails' #82 Relingstütze (railing stanchions) with .007" music wire soldered to them. The Außenbordniedergang (outboard stairs) that I used on the Aft (rear) hull turned out to be a perfect fit and the correct angle. After the gangways fiasco, I needed something to go smoothly.

Kutterdavids
The four Kutterdavids (Kutter davits) required 36 parts for each one. Obviously I could have made them less complicated, but would I ever take the easy route? Never!
