Preparing the Station Templates The hull station templates were sprayed on the back with spray-adhesive and then glued onto 6mm (1/4") birch plywood. I left enough room between each template to allow easy cutting.

So it Begins Each station is cut out of the plywood with a jigsaw mounting a fine wood
blade. The stations are not cut perfectly on the outline, as they will be sanded to the correct dimensions in the next steps.

Easy Does It Each station is trimmed close to (but not exactly on) the outline on the
bandsaw. It is too easy to cut too far into the template, so I left the final shaping for the sander. I also cut out the slots for each station to
fit onto the keel with the bandsaw. It is important to cut these slots slightly smaller so that they are not too loose on the keel.
